Details Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty is considered to be one of the finest Indian vocalists. He is a veritable trendsetter, demonstrating an amazing mastery over diverse forms of classical, light-classical and even modern vocal music. He is the first recipient of "Kumar Gandharva" award for the best musician below 45, he received "President's award for the best male playback singer in 1990" , he is the first Fellow to receive a Gold Medal from the "Sangeet Research Academy" (SRA). Ajoy Chakraborty will be accompanied by four supporting musicians.
