Details Bhairav to Bhairavi (classical and populist music) A Voyage for Musical Realization A voyage for musical realization begins at Raag Bhairav and culminates into Raag Bhairavi. As the manifested world is a consequence of a primordial vibration...NAAD, the embodiment of the seed of NAAD is SANGEET. It is the inseperable bond between Life and Nature. The expression of this bond, through Music is what this performance is about. As the music has no boundaries, no Gharanas, it really cannot be classified as Classical or Populist. Creation of the bliss is its own realm. The only time you will enjoy both - the Classical and Populist music!! This concert is led by Pandit Vijay Kopakar - the most sought after Classical Vocalist of today. He is accompanied by Madhura Datar who sings Hindi and Marathi songs as well as classical. And when Dattaprasad Ranade presents his Gazals, you will be reminded of Gulam Ali and there will be many "Once mores" for him. These vocalists will be accompanied by Tabla Player Vinayak Joshi, Harmonium Player Ashish Mujumdar, and Violinist Rajendra Bhave. Abhay Patil will be the Comparer and Milind Oak is the Director!
